 Why we are special

The Land Transport Gallery is part of Land Transport Authority’s effort to further engage the community and commuters on land transport issues. It helps the public to better understand and appreciate the complex challenges faced in developing the transport system today and the various policies and technical solutions used to overcome them.

The Gallery is also a focal platform to share and exchange with land transport authorities overseas, the principles of governance that Singapore has adopted for our land transport policies and systems. Thus, it complements Land Transport Authority's effort in marketing and exporting Singapore's public sector expertise.

The Gallery strives to engage an increasingly diverse local and international audience through the use of innovative and experiential exhibits. The Gallery aims to create an unusual and memorable time
for visitors while facilitating understanding and appreciation of the challenges in land transport planning as we work towards a more people-centred land transport system that will meet the diverse needs of an inclusive, liveable and vibrant global city.
